The marriage vow between Oghechi Nwaopara and Chimdi Iwuanyanwu was beautifully christened in love as the couple exchanged sacred vows in a solemn church ceremony filled with grace, joy, and thanksgiving.

The officiating priest pronounced the couple husband and wife on Tuesday, December 30, 2023, before a congregation of family members, friends, and well-wishers.

The highlight of the procession was the bride, Oghechi, who walked elegantly down the aisle, escorted by her father, to join her groom at the altar amid admiration and applause.

In his sermon, the officiating priest drew his exhortation from Genesis 2:18–25, reminding the couple that marriage is a divine institution rooted in love, unity, and reverence for God. He charged the couple to build their home on mutual love and understanding, urging the husband to love his wife as Christ loves the Church, and the wife to respect and support her husband through life’s challenges.

The ceremony concluded with a thanksgiving session as the newlyweds danced joyfully to the altar to appreciate God’s faithfulness and blessings upon their union. Thereafter, guests proceeded to a glamorous wedding reception held at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos, where dignitaries and well-wishers were lavishly entertained with fine cuisine, music, and celebration.

The reception hall was graced by prominent personalities from across Nigeria, including socialites, philanthropists, captains of industry, political leaders, and business executives, all present to honour and celebrate the couple on their special day.

The wedding ceremony was a remarkable blend of faith, culture, elegance, and love—marking the beginning of a new chapter for Mr. and Mrs. Iwuanyanwu as they journey together in holy matrimony.
