At a critical moment in the affairs of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, stakeholder Apst. Patrick Nwanze, JP (Agu-Anioma), has expressed his firm support for the President-General, Senator John Azuta-Mbata, while advocating equity, justice, due process, inclusion and strict adherence to the principle of rotational leadership.
Nwanze, an Advocate of Rotational Leadership and stakeholder of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos Chapter, cautioned against any attempt by individuals, factions or interest groups to capture or manipulate an institution that belongs collectively to Ndigbo.
According to him, Ohanaeze Ndigbo must remain greater than personalities, political interests and temporary arrangements.
Nwanze described Senator John Azuta-Mbata as an experienced statesman whose years of public service and political experience have equipped him with a deep understanding of leadership, governance and the management of diverse interests.
He particularly cautioned stakeholders against mistaking the President-General’s calm disposition, patience and willingness to listen for weakness. He said he could make this assertion with confidence, having held a one-on-one meeting with the leader and observed his remarkable self-control, measured conduct and concise but meaningful communication.

He stressed that effective leadership requires courage, fairness and the ability to stand firmly for what is right, even when doing so may be politically inconvenient.
ROTATIONAL LEADERSHIP IS ABOUT EQUITY
Nwanze said the principle of rotational leadership remains fundamental to building confidence, unity and a genuine sense of belonging among the various components of Ndigbo.
He argued that rotation is not intended to deny anyone an opportunity, but to ensure that every constituent part of the Igbo nation has a fair and predictable opportunity to participate in leadership.

He therefore urged all stakeholders to resist attempts to reduce the affairs of Ohanaeze to personal ambition or sectional interests.
DELTA STATE WILL DEFEND ITS INTERESTS
Nwanze also drew attention to the interests and representation of Delta State (Anioma) indigenes within the broader Ohanaeze structure.
He stated that the leadership and prominent stakeholders of Delta State(Anioma) are aware of the issues surrounding the current situation and will take appropriate steps, at the appropriate time, to protect the legitimate interests, dignity and rightful place of their people.
He maintained that Delta State (Anioma ) cannot be expected to remain silent when issues of equity, inclusion and rotational leadership are at stake.
THE JUSTICE TEAM IS ABOUT PRINCIPLE
Nwanze further clarified that the Justice Team was established as a platform for defending justice, equity, due process and the collective interest, not as a vehicle for personal ambition or vendetta.
He warned that institutional processes must not be manipulated to serve predetermined interests.
“No individual is greater than Ohanaeze Ndigbo. No temporary arrangement can permanently defeat justice. No attempt to manipulate the process can ultimately overcome the truth.”»
He called on all stakeholders to respect the constitution, established principles and legitimate institutional processes, insisting that the future of Ohanaeze must be built on fairness and transparency rather than intimidation, manipulation or personal loyalty.

Nwanze assured Senator John Azuta-Mbata of the continued support of those who believe in equity, justice, inclusion, institutional integrity and rotational leadership.
He also appealed to all well-meaning sons and daughters of Ndigbo to place the long-term survival and credibility of Ohanaeze above personal and sectional interests.
In a strong concluding message, he declared:
THEY CANNOT CAPTURE US.
THEY CANNOT COMPROMISE US.
THEY CANNOT DEFEAT THE TRUTH.
EQUITY AND JUSTICE MUST PREVAIL.
He emphasised that the ultimate victory must not belong to any individual, faction or interest group, but to Ohanaeze Ndigbo and the principles upon which the organisation stands.
