Ibeju-Lekki Chairman Champions Civic Responsibility at Local Government Conference-Hon Olow
The Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Olowa, has emphasized the importance of voter participation as a cornerstone of democracy. He made this known on Wednesday during the Local Government Conference held at Radisson Hotel, Ikeja.
In his remarks, Hon. Olowa highlighted the ongoing efforts by local government leaders to ensure that residents across their councils obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
“Every local government chairman is working to ensure that residents in their councils get their PVCs. It’s a priority because it strengthens democracy,” he said.
Hon. Olowa further stated that his administration remains committed to inclusive growth and continuous improvement, adding that Ibeju-Lekki is setting the pace as a model for other councils in Lagos State.
